<a></a><a><strong>InVento FRE from Synthos &#8211; an ecological alternative for thermal insulation</strong></a><strong></strong>

InVento FRE, a product sold by Synthos, is an eco-friendly option for the construction industry. It is made from at least 30 percent recycled material and can be recovered later on. Its production process is waste-free. The introduction of InVento FRE into the chemical company’s product range is part of the implementation of its Evergreen sustainability strategy which includes the increased use of BIO and recycled raw materials.

The thermal insulation efficiency of InVento FRE is 25 percent higher compared to traditional polystyrene panels.

– “We developed our innovative and environmentally friendly product with the construction industry in mind. In the process of its manufacture we use recycled raw materials and production is entirely waste-free.It is not without significance that products made using InVento technology are fully recyclable,” says Zbigniew Warmuz, President of the Management Board of Synthos S.A. – “It is an excellent product for thermal insulation. Its thermal conductivity coefficient does not exceed 0.030 (W/m x K)”.

According to Sylwester Jachna, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Director at Synthos, by 2030 InVento’s production will be based on 30 percent consumer recyclate, i.e. waste collected from the market: – “To complete this objective, we are focusing on creating mechanisms for obtaining raw material. The waste must also be adequately clean, properly sorted and prepared”.

Synthos has ordered recyclates and waste from several European suppliers, among other sources. Waste materials from manufacturers of home electronics, white goods, and food packaging, but also construction companies using polystyrene are incorporated in their entirety in the production process.
